Strong Business

The number one priority in our community now is creating jobs and a healthy economy.  We must work to recruit new companies to move to Hillsborough County.  We must create a friendly small business environment.  Margaret has worked with many small businesses in Hillsborough County as a Small Business Advisor for the SBA, she understands the struggles currently facing business owners.  When elected she will focus on:

• Keeping people employed.
• Keeping businesses in Hillsborough County through incentive programs.
• Bringing new businesses to Hillsborough County with the help of tax cuts.

Safe Children & Strong Families

Margaret is passionate about children and families.  As the founder of Angels for Foster Care, a former foster child and now a guardian ad litem, Margaret knows the plight of those less fortunate children who need help and assistance.  She has worked passionately to improve the lives of those children and the families they are a part of.  Margaret will take her passion for helping children and her strong understanding of the needs of our children and families and work to improve conditions for all.

Taxes

Margaret is a strongly opposed to any tax increases and certainly will work to decrease our tax burden through smart business management styles when serving as a County Commissioner.
